Our studio was born from a desire to do better. To combine the practical with the conceptual. Imagining destinations and spaces that hold meaning for both you and your guests. Bringing these two concepts together we create venues that inspire mindfulness whilst enticing discovery and awe. Places to feel good in.

In this stage it is all about developing a clear design strategy.

To ensure we move forward on the right foot, we take a step back to evaluate your brands attributes. Looking at where you are currently, your goals and your vision for the future. Digging deep into your why and the values that will set you apart from all others, getting a clear understanding of who your customers are, what they like and dislike, and their expectations. It is essential to build from this foundation to ensure that we establish meaningful and strategic approach for the design of your venue and the experiences created within them.

Designing for looks only is skin deep, our work ensures that your outward aesthetic aligns with your vision for your destination. The insights from this process will inform how your guests will get a sense of your principles, level of service they can expect and how they will feel in your venue. Beyond the customer focus, this foundation will also help inform how staff and supplier will also interact with the space and your brand, after all your guests are not the only users of your venues.

//EXPLORATION

This stage starts to look a little more outwardly drawing inspirations from research and data to ensure the design proposal is based on facts and figures. Whilst still a creative process we delve into the experience you want to create for your customers and how you want them to feel in the space, what treasured moment do you want them to experience whilst they are with you, that will be remembered for a lifetime.

How a certain colour palette or use of a colour can set the tone for a calm and restorative stay. How the use of lighting can convey a feeling of comfort and is warm and welcoming for your guests, or conversely how it can create an environment that feels alive and invigorating.

Here we are questioning the experiences waiting to be had by your guests and drawing on sensorial and psychological findings allowing the answers to inform the design direction. Combining these together with the insight from your brand and guest persona, here we are building on top of your core foundation and further establishing your destinations relationship with your customers, building loyalty and trust, and going beyond their expectations.

///DEVELOPMENT

Once we have aligned the overarching strategy, we move on to articulating these core design principles. This is developed through customer journey mapping (onsite and offsite) and space planning, brand touch points and technical specification packages, providing you with a framework of information ready to be implemented for your venue.

Guests decisions on which venues to choose are hinged on both emotional and rational decision making, so it is important to help streamline the process. Keeping in mind that this decision is made well before they arrive, maintaining the same onsite level of service through all touch points before and as they arrive as well as when they leave, is key to maintaining consistency and coherency.

Knowing your focus needs to be elsewhere in the business, here we turn your vision into reality with a full turnkey offering, through conscious partnering and our trusted supply chain.

This can include online touch points such as website design, social media management, all onsite development and management including QS, contractor appointment and sourcing all furniture and lighting. We can even do final staging and dressing ready for the big re-launch with photography packages for your website content and launch party.
